Don’t start this unit just yet! it is highly advised that you have at least a basic understanding of programming, more specifically, Python to take full advantage of the concepts learned in this topic. Fortunately, if you have never studied it before you can find several programming lessons here to get you up to a basic level in order to tackle some of the problems presented in this topic.

However, even if you are familiar with Python you should still also begin to improve your overall programming abilities now to best prepare you for the practical elements of the course including the pre-release material where you must use your programming skills (in Python) to solve specific problems.
